Re-use - your old sofa
If you've got an old sofa in need of a new home then we can help. Did you know that there are over 400 furniture re-use organisations who are always on the lookout for furniture like yours?
These organisations operate with social and environmental aims across the UK, happy to accept donated furniture passing it on to those less fortunate, which in turn reduces household waste deposited in landfills.
Donating unwanted furniture not also helps reduce your carbon footprint, but can be put to good use, helping those in need.
If you've set your heart on a new three-piece suite, and your old furniture is not worth refurbishing by loose covers or reupholstery, please contact one of the following organisations.
The Furniture Re-use Network (FRN) helps reduce poverty by helping households in need of furniture, white goods and other household items at affordable prices.
The FRN co-ordinates and supports over 400 charitable furniture and appliance re-use and recycling organisations in the UK, collecting a wide range of household items to pass onto people in need.
